Wine festival at Limassol.

The cultivation of wine in Cyprus is an ancient profession from 4.000 years ago. Some very known ancients like Strabo and Plinios and more had said that Cyprus has the most nice and expensive wines. This is a cultural event that people were organized from ancient times when similar festivities with reference to organized wine.

Richard the Lionheart said once "wine of the kings and the king of the wines". So don't miss the festival cause you will be able to try the Cypriot wine and eat the traditional Cypriot food. One of the most popular feature and beautiful dances that you can enjoy and can do yourselves is the traditional wine press. There will be of course folkloric dances and songs, and theatrical performances by Cypriot and foreign figures.

The wine festival will be held on Friday, August 26 2016 - Sunday, and will last two weeks up to September 4, 2016 at Public garden alongside from zoo of Limassol.
