The Trooditissa Picnic Area is located on the road between Platres and Prodromos about 6 KM north of Platres village near the monastery.
The picnic area is located on the banks of Xerokolympos stream, at 1300 meters altitude and can accomodate up to 700 holidaymakers.
The place has all the facilities for safe barbecuing , drinking water and toilets.
