Popped over to Greece via Limassol
An authentic Greek meze experience that feels like a short trip to Greece

We recently visited Mostra Meze Tavern at Saripolou Square, in the heart of Limassol, close to “Agora”, to experience first-hand what is often described as one of the most authentic Greek meze spots in the city.

From the very first moment, the place won us over with its lively yet relaxed atmosphere. The square is full of life and energy, adding a unique character to the evening and making it feel as though we had been transported straight to Greece.

The concept of Mostra Meze Tavern is based on small sharing plates, allowing guests to taste a wide variety of flavours within a single meal. The dishes are served gradually, creating a natural and relaxed flow at the table that enhances the overall dining experience.
The experience itself encourages you to sit back, unwind, and enjoy each dish individually, just as you would in a traditional Greek meze tavern.

Service was also a highlight. The staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to explain the dishes and offer recommendations, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that perfectly matches the spirit of the tavern.
On our table, we enjoyed a selection of classic Greek favourites, including tzatziki, feta saganaki, salad, beef burgers stuffed with feta, pork fillets, shrimp saganaki, octopus with fava, and French fries.
Each dish had its own character, with a clear focus on simple yet well-executed Mediterranean flavours.
Overall, our visit to Mostra Meze Tavern was a truly enjoyable Greek meze experience in the centre of Limassol. It is a place that combines good food, a vibrant atmosphere, and genuine hospitality, making it ideal for relaxed evenings with friends or family.
