We found a wonderful place on the beach you must try!
51 years of experience with amazing food, and fantastic views all in one restaurant with great history.

In the heart of Ayia Napa on a beautiful sandy bay, we found Magic Sandy Bay Beach Restaurant. It combines amazing food and a wonderful view of the sea, in a welcoming environment with a great history and future!
The history of Magic Sandy Bay begins a little earlier than the invasion of 1974, when the owner, Mr. Andreas Papantoniou, tried to invest in a plot of land literally on the beach. It is worth referring to the continuous progress of Magic Sandy Bay Beach Restaurant over the years, to highlight the reasons that make it operate successfully till date!
The History...
Despite the difficulty at that time to invest in a business in order to raise his family, Mr. Andreas Papantoniou managed to buy the plot of land on the beach and build his restaurant, which started its operation 3 months before the invasion of 1974. Due to the unexpected war that broke out in Cyprus, his plans were overturned, so he initially operated it as a coffee shop, selling Nescafe drinks, just to ensure milk for his children. After the war, he managed to operate it entirely as a restaurant for the next 17 years, before finally handing it over to his son Mr. Adonis Papantoniou.
Continuation...

Mr. Adonis (picture above), now the manager of the restaurant, after completing his hotel studies and the experience he gained working in five-star hotels, took over his father's business entirely and has devoted himself since then with the same passion for 32 whole years until today. What distinguishes the family business is the hospitality it provides to its guests and the welcoming smile that gives the feeling of a friendly family environment, which is always made up of kind and helpful staff.
The sea is literally on your plate...
The restaurant provides rich dishes in quantity but also in the variety of delicious quality local dishes and international cuisine.
From breakfast to afternoon meal, it offers meat, grilled dishes, fish, salmon, pasta, delicious kitchen stews and much more!

You can enjoy all of this sitting in an elevated spot, which offers an amazing view of the sea "Vathia Gonia", near the famous Avenue Nissi.
The sand is only a few meters from the restaurant, allowing you to enjoy refreshing dips on a quiet beach. This combination is also the magic of the restaurant, since it seems that many regular customers prefer it, some customers have chosen this wonderful restaurant since 1974.
Tip: It is worth trying the moussaka, which is a favourite dish of the guests as it is prepared with love and passion. Mr. Adonis pointed out that, "We offer ourselves to the dish, due to the fact that the restaurant is privately owned and has no rent, the quantity and quality is our primary concern, in addition to the warm hospitality that awaits every visitor with a smile!"

So we strongly recommend Magic Sandy Bay Beach Restaurant, for its quality cuisine, rich delicious food, clean and calm environment, the amazing view it offers, the possibility to swim after your meal, but also to get to know up close its hospitable owners in a family and beautiful environment!
